Open Position
Account Executive
We are looking for an account executive who enjoys building relationships with financial advisors and turning genuine conversations into long-term partnerships.

We’re Laylah. The app that’s changing the way financial advisors and their teams access, organize, and use their clients’ data.
About Laylah
At Laylah, we believe (pretty strongly) that if financial advisors and their firms had unlimited access to the quality data they needed to do their work they would be more efficient, provide exceptional service to their clients and run more profitable practices.
We’re here to help financial advisors and their teams adapt to the realities of a constantly changing industry. To do that, we need people who value their autonomy, love their craft, and understand the importance of building long-term relationships within our team and with our clients.
We always want to meet people that know how to listen and focus on the seed, know that perfection happens in iterations, and that constant evolution needs to be at the foundation of everything we do.
Mission
Financial advisors don't want to be sold to; they want to be understood. As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle at Laylah: finding the advisors and firms who struggle with fragmented data, showing them what a CRM built for their reality looks like, and guiding them to a decision they feel good about. For most of our future clients, you will be the first person they speak to at Laylah, and the one who brings their feedback back to the team.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and Pipeline
- Identify and reach out to financial advisors, independent firms and wealth management teams who would benefit from Laylah.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, industry events and inbound leads.
- Qualify opportunities early and honestly, so that everyone's time is well spent.
Demos and Sales Cycle
- Run tailored product demonstrations that speak to each prospect's workflow rather than a generic feature list.
- Lead the sales cycle from first contact to signature, including follow-ups, proposals and negotiation.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team so that the handoff after signature is seamless for the new client.
Market Feedback and Growth
- Bring what you hear in the field back to the product and leadership teams: objections, missing features, competitive signals.
- Document your process in the CRM so that the pipeline is always an accurate picture of the business.
- Help define and refine our sales playbook, pricing conversations and key performance indicators as we grow.
Skills
- Fluently bilingual in French and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience (3+ years) in a business-to-business (B2B) sales role is required.
- Previous experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry would be considered an asset.
- Comfortable owning a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Able to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to rapid change.
- Genuinely curious about the client's business, and more interested in solving their problem than in closing quickly.
- Results- and objective-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Benefits
- Salary set according to experience, ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 per year.
- All employees get 4 weeks of vacation from day one.
- Computer, monitor and required software provided.
- Be part of the decision-making process and have a tangible, positive impact on our clients and our team through your work.
Feel free to contact us if this is something that interests you.
We look forward to meeting you and telling you more!
Best regards,
The Team at Laylah
